Ubermetrics is the leading SaaS platform for content intelligence and analytics, earned media insights and social listening. We collect new articles, posts, comments and many other text documents from millions of online sources and process this stream using big data technologies and algorithms from machine learning and bioinformatics. Your tasks
As a member of a highly motivated agile development team you will:
- Develop new data collection, analysis and processing capabilities
- Operate a system scaled over hundreds of servers
- Continually improve and refactor existing components
- Take responsibility for writing well-tested, peer-reviewed code
- Contribute in all stages from conception to operations
You should have
- Excellent skills in Java 8+
- At least three years of experience in software development
- Strong algorithmic skills
- Good communication skills
- Very good command of English (equivalent to C1)
- Some form of reference work, e.g. on github
- General availability for work during a core time of 10:30-15:00 CET.
